  • Where is the solar farm?

    Lauriston Solar Farm is located approximately 46 kilometres southwest of Christchurch and approximately 20 kilometres northeast of Ashburton township

  • When does construction commence?

    The Mechanical Installation of the project is due to commence in early June 2024

  • What role types are on offer?

    - Labourers 

    - Site Cleaners

    - QA officer positions 

    - Truck drivers positions

    - Stores people

    - Trade Assistants 

    - Skid steer operators

    - Telehandler operators 


  • What are the working hours?

    We are looking for people available to work from 7am-5pm Monday to Friday with Saturday shifts to be confirmed.

  • What licences and tickets do I require to work on this project?

    All positions on the project will require personnel to hold a Foundation Passport - Building Construction. 


    Additionally, a driver's licence is an advantage but not essential for all roles. 


    Telehandler / Forklift Operator

    Class 1 Drivers licence 

    F Forklift Endorsement 


    Skid Steer Operator

    - Class 1 Drivers licence

    - W Wheels endorsement


    Truck Driver 

    Driver’s licence – Class 3 or 4


  • Do I need to have previous solar farm construction experience?

    Certainly not. We seek candidates capable of undertaking manual handling tasks, exhibit reliability, and foster teamwork. Extensive on-the-job training will be provided to all employees. Thus, we encourage candidates with minimal renewable energy experience to apply.
